In view of the cost and uniqueness of this experience, this footplate course will differ from those we normally offer on the railway. Participants will be able to join the crews from the early hours of the morning when the locomotive is lit up and prepared, enjoy a cooked breakfast (unfortunately not cooked in the traditional manner !) spend a day on the locomotive with the other participants, take part in lunch and then assist in the disposal at the end of the day.

The cost of this action packed day is £500 per person.
