A Cavalcade of Steam awaits you at the Churnet Valley Railway 2006 Steam Gala held on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June. Heading an impressive array of steam locomotives will be Merchant Navy Class `Canadian Pacific’ 35005.  Built in 1941 this will be the first Southern region engine to run along the Churnet Valley line and is sure to be a popular attraction on its three day visit to the railway.
