Leekbrook Junction lies at the northern end of the Churnet Valley line and is reached through the 531-yard Leekbrook Tunnel north of Cheddleton Station. Leekbrook is also the point at which the line joins the Cauldon branch controlled by Moorland & City Railways. From summer 2012, Churnet Valley Railway services will join the newly-restored MCR line towards Stoke-on-Trent, the first services in this direction going as far as Endon.
The original Leekbrook Junction Signal Box still remains and is now a Grade II listed building. The NSRC have plans to refurbish the building and open it to the public in the near future.
Please Note: There is no public access to Leekbrook Junction and paasengers are not allowed to alight from trains there.
