Join us as we step back in time to life on the home front at our sleepy rural railway, join with us as we recreate scenes and memories of a nation coping with day to day life in war time Britain. Last year's event saw record number of visitors attending this one of the biggest events on our Railways calendar. This year it promises to be better than ever with 1940s Singers and Dancers entertaining the villagers, military vehicle displays, pre war vintage car displays ,War time shows, Re enactment groups, Dads Army on Patrol, Regular Steam Train Service behind our Von Ryan's Express plus lots more... |

The Saturday night "Brief
Encounter" Wine and Dine Evening has sold out BUT you can travel
on the
Evening Real Ale Troop Train which has light refreshments available. The ticket price is £8 adults
£6 seniors £5 children, pay on the night, or only £2
if you have already bought a ticket to travel in the day. |

TV Celebrity to Unveil Award: Antiques Road show host Mr. Paul Atterbury is to officially unveil the National Express East Coast Volunteers Award on Saturday 25th April at 12:10 pm. The railway received the Award at the National Railway Heritage Awards for rebuilding the waiting shelter on platform II at Kingsley & Froghall Station. For more details about the award click here |
