The 9th National Railway Velocipede Rally at Kingsley & Froghall Station

Attending Velocipedes:

- John Wilkinson of Rowden Mill Station brought his lovely un-restored Sheffield Machine with wooden spoked "artillery" wheels, this is probably the oldest machine in the country.
- David Heywood of the Eden Valley railway brought "Fred" from Sweden a 1970s track bike with fascinating wheels made from three disks.
- Bob Palmer of the Bromyard Light railway brought Richard Cookson's un-restored BUDA machine which is for sale.
- Roger Fuller brought his modern two pedal powered machine, the drag racer of the day.
- Steve Downs brought the Hampton Loade BUDA machine from the Severn Valley Railway and carried off the National Velocipede Trophy for having so much original equipment on board.
- Peter Milnes brought the two Bluebell BUDA machines, one which he rode and the other displayed waiting rebuild.
- Kevin Thomas brought the new Sheffield Machine which was built from photographs of a machine in Santa Clara California.
