Shareholders Special to Oakamoor on Sunday 21st September 2008
The CVR has been given special dispensation by H.M. Railway Inspectorate to operate lightweight diesel railcar trains (DMUs) between Froghall and Oakamoor Sidings on three days in September!
This is a unique opportunity which the CVR Board feel shareholders should
benefit from and as such they are providing five Observation Trains for
Shareholders only on Sunday 21st September 2008.
This is a advance ticket only event as places are strictly limited, Seats & train times will be allocated strictly on a "first come first served" basis, irrespective of shareholding.
- Please be aware that the other two running days will coincide with our annual Scenic Railcar Weekend, 27th & 28th September and are primarily revenue earning trains for public use, therefore Shareholders passes and tickets will not be valid that weekend.
- An application form for tickets was sent out to all shareholders on 19th August with the "Notice of Annual General Meeting".
- All the Oakamoor Shareholders Special Observation Trains will depart from Kingsley & Froghall ONLY and will NOT be stopping at Cheddleton Station.
- Train departure times will be marked on the tickets and are NOT transferable.
- Each ticket is valid for ONE complete journey only.
